Samira and Samir: The Heart Rendering Story of Love and Oppression in Afghanistan

When Samira is bourn her father, who desperately needs his first born to be a son, decides to bring her up as Samir, a son. The older Samira gets the more difficult it becomes to hide her true identity and eventually she becomes Samira again. I enjoyed the book though for what ever reason the book often felt much more like fiction than fact. Perhaps for someone like me it's just a world, and a situation, which is almost impossible to imagine.
I'm sending this off to a friend in Italy, lets see what she thinks of it.
My friend from Finland sent me this book ^__^
I'll read it it as soon as possible
