First They Killed My Father

I was especially interested that the author lived in this area ( Essex Jct., Vt.). Man's inhumanity to man and even children always amazes me as well as our human spirit to endure and even prosper. I am releasing this to my daughter so she will learn about a neighbor, so to speak, of hers and what her childhood was like.
This was a controlled release that I was given a few months ago. I finally got around to reading it and finished it today. I thought the story was terribly sad. I so wanted things to get better for the author but they kept getting worse and worse. It is hard to believe that things like that still happen across the world. If I knew how to take action I would.
