The Romanov Prophecy: A Novel
2 journalers for this copy...
From the back cover: "After the fall of Communism and a succession of weak governments, the Russian people have voted to bring back the tsar, who will be chosen from among the distant relatives of Nicholas II. Asked to perform a background check on one of the candidates, Atlanta lawyer Miles Lord is honored to be part of such a momentous event. But once in Moscow, he is nearly killed by gunmen on a city plaza. Suddenly Miles is racing across continents, his only guide a cryptic utterance of Rasputin's implying that the infamous 1918 massacre of the Romanov family was not the last chapter in their story."
This was a pretty good read, especially since I've always had a fascination with the Romanovs. It was very "DaVinci Code"-like, but written better.

Gave this to my niece to read and release.
Niece No. 2 is taking this to Cleveland, Ohio, to release this Friday. She's going to let me know where and when. Safe travels!
RELEASE NOTES:
My niece is on a school trip and left this on a bench somewhere in Cedar Point.
Congratulations--you caught a book!
It may have seemed odd to find this lying around, but rest assured it's not lost and it's not forgotten. Feel free to read it, pass it on to a friend, or release it in the wild like I did. You can even keep it, if you like, but are books really happy when they're just sitting on a shelf? I'd have to say no.
If you are new to BookCrossing, welcome! Enjoy the site, the book and the BookCrossing community. It doesn't cost anything to join; it’s confidential (you are known only by your screen name and no one is ever given your e-mail address), free, and spam-free. If you do join, please consider using any journaler of this book, or me, grubsneerg, as the member who referred you.
If you are an old hand at BookCrossing, thanks for picking up the book! Either way, I hope you'll journal so all the previous and future readers can track this book's journey. Enjoy!
