Very short, only 86 pages, and printed in large print. But still the same quality I expect from Ruth Rendell. This was brought out as part of the BBC's RAW project (helping adults who are poor readers to improve). I think it would be great to give to someone in this category, as it's a page turner and if they like mysteries, it could get them to love reading. But read it first yourself!
