I am very excited to be reading Cracker. I can relate because I have heard many stories about the Vietnam war and my parents have experienced the war. I also have a dog and I understand how hard it is to take care of it at first. I think this should be a very good book for those who know.

I enjoyed this book very much. It was amazing, and very addicting. I honestly thought it had a little slow beginning, but not as bad as some of the books as I have read before. But once you get into the war it'll make you go crazy. You're just always wanting to know what's gonna happen. One part almost made me cry, well actully it kinda did. I also got a good history lesson of Vietnam and a whole new picture of what it was like. This book opened alot of windows for me. I definitely believe it deserves a nine.
