Wow, quite the book! Twists and turns until the end, and I certainly never guessed what happened or was going to happen until it was all quite finished. Surprisingly timeless, though I was able to date it here and there from the odd reference that was made. It was not entirely suited to my lunchtime reading breaks, as I felt it needed longer continuous stretches of time devoted to it, but it didn't harm the experience per se. Overall, very enjoyable.
After losing one copy to one daughter, I have gained this copy from the other to read at my leisure. I am looking forward to reading this, but may not get to it for a while!
