One of the best books I have read all year. A naked bleeding woman is found outside in a blinding snowstorm by 2 boys and their father in Kansas. Who she was, and how she died become one of the mysteries of this book. Well written, this book give wonderful descriptions of Kansas small town life, tornadoes, and what it means to have faith.

Finished this last night! This is the real example of a page-turner. I had to police myself to keep from turning to the end to see if the characters I cared about would be all right. The plot was very detailed and layered. I can not imagine how hard it is to write something like this; to keep all the subplots and cross details true. It flowed nonetheless and I enjoyed every single page. Another book that keeps you thinking about it long after its completion.
