Entertaining and gripping novel set during the Iranian revolution. It does rather effectively convey that dismaying sense of not knowing who, if anyone, is in control of the situation. Several old chums from Noble House resurface, always a pleasure. It looks rather daunting with 1023 pages but once you've got started you can't put it down.

I picked this up at Walthamstow meetup as it was left over. However although Speedytuft says it is unputdownable I don't really think it's of interest to me so will take to next meeup I go to.
