Looking forward to another great Tom Holt Novel. I've been waiting for what seems like ages for this to come into paperback and it's finally here. Continues the saga of JW Wells & Co (effective magicians and supernatural consultants) although with a new set of principal characters.

Fantastic book - Holt continues his JW Well & Co stories excellently. Excellent stoy about two star crossed lovers (Colin & Cassie), a contract with the devil, strange happenings and a great twist in the tail. I think this is probably the last one in the series which is a great shame. If you havent read 'the portable door' and 'earth, fire, air and custard' read them before this book and you'll understand all the characters and the context. Brill book.
