Purchased today.

I'd heard heaps about this and was wrapped to find a second hand copy. I really enjoyed this book. Being an Australian born of European parents myself, I really felt I understood where Josie was coming from. Also my best friend at school was an Australian born of Italian parents, so I had spent plenty of time around Italians when I was growing up.

Melinda Marchetta writes really well - and I just love Nonna's accent - it sounds alot like my own mother's accent.

This is a fantastic book about growing up and realising who we are. I think the author expressed the feelings of most teens and their self-doubts very accurately.

One of my favourite reads so far this year. I am giving this to my daughter to read, I think she will enjoy it.

Mum just gave me this book to read. I will read it as soon as I finish reading my current book.

This is one of the best books ive read! It was so cool to read about something happening in Australia (alot of books i read are based in america!)

Found this book in Cowra Japanese Gardens on Sunday - Fantastic gardens and the book find just made it a more valuable experience.
I have been wanting to read it for ages and just hadn't got round to it.
It also provides the stimulus for me to join bookcrossing and send a couple of books travelling.
As an avid reader I look forward to sending some books out for the hunt.
