Sort of a literary version of the song "Torn Between Two Lovers" and often feeling like a fool.
Libby knows she wants to live the privileged life and believes the way to get there is via a rich man. She falls into a relationship with Nick, a struggling writer on the dole and as much as she cares about him and is attracted to him, a part of her knows he cannot give her what she thinks she wants. But that doesn't end up mattering; Nick is the one who tells her he isn't interested in a relationship, so she isn't given the chance to be the one to say goodbye.
Enter Ed, one of Britain's most eligible bachelors and the man who could give Libby all she's dreamed of. The problem? Not only is she not attracted to him, she isn't even able to pretend as time goes on. The final straw comes when they get engaged and she really has to look at tomorrow.
I thought the final revelation at the ending was a bit of a cheap out though. Otherwise I enjoyed it.

Going in my third trade paperback bookbox. This box will be mailed in a few days.
Took this one out of awakeagain's trade paperback box. Looks like a good one.
I read this one this week. Predictable, but a fun quick read. I will mark it available, but will probably put itin the Chick lit box heading my way (hopefully!)
