The Diving Bell and the Butterfly is a book that everyone should read. It was written by it's author, the former editor in chief of the French Vogue, using just one eyelid. Bauby suffered from locked in syndrome, a thankfully very rare condition which leaves the sufferer unable to move whatsoever, whilst retaining all normal mental capacities. It is a tiny but profound book about life and it touched me deeply. A must read....
