Outrageous Acts and Everyday Rebellions

This book is a collection of Gloria Steinem's articles through the 1970s and 80s. Plenty of food for thought for contemporary feminists.
Have received this book from friend bookcrosser in California through the Book Relay Index. Thanks, Cpetersky! I look forward to reading it and will certainly pass it on!
A bit embarrassed to say that it took me 10 years to get to this book... too many books, too little time. But I loved reading all these articles... which took me WAY back to my college years. Gloria Steinham's comments are spot on; I was continually putting little stickies in to mark passages I found outstanding. She is extremely intelligent, and reading the things she wrote back in the early days of the "feminist" revolution (so often misunderstood and mistreated today), I marvel at her perception and personal growth. I also realize how much I myself was young and learning. I wish every young woman today could read and reflect on this book.
