Received this book from MsPooh a couple of weeks ago, and read it ASAP.
I liked the idea of the seven interconnected short stories/novellas, rather than a "full" novel. I particularly enjoyed the novellas narrated by Jane, who is a very appealing character - fun, imaginative, creative, but thoughtful and introspective. I thought "The Best Possible Light" was a nice short story, but really couldn't see the connection to the rest of the book.
I think every woman can relate to Jane's struggles with men, work, and family. The characters are real, even the imaginary ones. I think Melissa Bank is a very good writer, and her imagination and writing skills make me look forward to more of her work.

So sorry! I'm guessing that I never journaled this book when I received it! I'm sorry.
Well, I just finished this book today, and I loved it! It reminded me of Bridget Jones, but in short stories. I loved the Archie stories, even though he kinda turned out to be a jerk.
Also, I didn't understand, "Best Possible Light." Who were these people? It just didn't make sense to me.
9/10
