Fantastic ending to a great series of books. I really enjoyed this series.
While this last book ties up a lot of loose ends and brings about a great ending, there is a little shimmer of a hope that Applegate could one day decide to revisit EverWorld. There is plenty left to write about and I for one would welcome more of this series.

I was kind of disappointed in this as an ending. It was such a WONDERFUL series... and then I felt a little let down.
Highlight to read... spoilers.
Really, they ended up pretty much right where they started off. The main threat in Everworld has not been eliminated.
Also, why couldn't they use Senna's mother as a gate back to the Real World? I get that in the end they realized that they were meant to be in Everworld, and happier there, but they were all upset because their gate was gone, but Senna's mother also functioned as a gate, and she had been to their real world so she could, in theory take them through. I never understood that.
I hope that Applegate returns to this world someday. I'd like to see more... and find out what happens next.

This is a series I've been interested in reading for awhile. I read book 1 way back when it first came out, but never really got more into the series due to life.

These books came back to me some time ago thanks to the generosity of Nimrodiel. My now 15 year old dd did not get to read them the first time around as she was a bit young. She has become quite the reader so I am going to let her enjoy them now.
