Dit is geen standaard chicklit. Het was een prachtig en boeiend verhaal en ik heb het met veel plezier gelezen. Jammer dat het boek nu uit is.

Some more information about this book:
Bee Bearhorn had a number-one-hit single in 1985 - and was never heard of again. Fifteen years later she is found dead - and nobody seems to care.

Ana Wills has always daydreamed about the exotic half-sister she hasn't seen for years. When she comes to London to clear her flat, Ana begins to unravel Bee's life: her missing cat, her secret country cottage and her mysterious weekends away.

So, instead of going back to Devon, Ana tracks down Bee's closest friends, mad Lol and strong, silent Flint, and together they set out to discover exactly what happened to Bee Bearhorn, the one-hit wonder...

Received! The postman had some difficulty pushing the book through the letterbox, but he managed :-). The wrappingpaper was damaged, but the book is fine.

What a lovely, delightful book. A pageturner from the beginning. A very easy read but I never thought of it as chicklit. To me it was a modern romancenovel with enjoyable characters. The only thing I had against the book was the sudden change Ana made from a shy woman with no backbone to a modern, lively and funny character. I can't imagine that a person that has been treated like Ana has by her mother and her boyfriend Hugh, can make such a sudden and glamorous change.

But, apart from that, I loved the book till the end. Very nice story, easy to read; I just couldn't stop reading.

I'm going to PM Jordanne.
