My 5 year old son read this book and he says :

' It's a bit good and its all about swimming.I learnt that Romans played chess in the swimming pool. In the middle ages people threw dirty water in the street and it caused diseases. It's got loads of pools in it. In the olden days people wore animal skins for clothes..'
