i've read a few books by cynthia voigt, but never this one! liked it very much, glad to have found it at a library sale. i think from now on i'll be a lot more careful about what i buy in the grocery store...making seven dollars stretch through 4 days of food for four kids!! wow. loved the characters of the kids, very endearing personalities. looking forward to reading dicey's song and seventeen against the dealer!
