I've heard many terrible things about this book. Usually that means that i'm going to like it. I loved this book. He's an excellent writer. I started this book last night and couldn't seem to stop reading. When i finally put it down to go to sleep i had this ball of saddness and doom floating above my head. I was honestly nervous about sleeping. I was afraid that i would have nightmares brought on by this book.

This afternoon the book is over. It was quite refreshing to see someone who has had an extremely hard life not be completely brought down about it. No complaining what so ever. He accepts his life and moves on. Hey, no big deal.

The writer is excellent, but the plot may be a bit too raunchy and dark for me. I'll finish it, but I might be just skimming it. I found it at my local Good Will in Michigan. Wonder how it got from CA to here... Cool.
