Picked this up in the Last Resort coffee shop after much internal debate - I wanted them all but that felt way too greedy. My very first travelling book, and I have now joined so am looking forward to freeing some of my books.
I like Roddy Doyle. I enjoyed how easy the book was to read and how realistic everything was - I can picture a lot of those things happening to people I know, although thankfully not the pivotal event.
Should have brought the book back to Liverpool airport with me this weekend, but actually left it in the departure lounge in Alghero, Sardinia. I do hope someone else picked it up, rather than someone binning the poor thing (as Paula found they did)
