We read this book and loved it! We remember reading this great story to our boys! We chuckled every time we heard Farnces' little songs about eggs! We are sending this book to Clare, with love.

Thank you for the tribute to my mother,
Frances Tennant Bills.

What a great and timely reminder that too much of a good thing is not necessarily a good thing.

The Bills'' family enjoyed a reunion together on August 11th. The Bills'' Family Traveling Collection of Books was there, and this book is a part of the collection. Comments were very positive. Regan Howell and his family enjoyed sharing it, and then passed it onto Carson and Michelle Howell. They read the book with their children, Daegan and Sierra. "We had a great time! Thanks!" was their response for journal entry.

This book has been traveling for the last year, making stops at the homes of my brothers, sisters, and their children and grandchildren. It just arrived after spending time with Jeff. Jeff and his wife said they had fun reading the books from the collection with their family.

Now that I've shared it with "The Bills Family," I am going to return the book to my bookshelf for my second grade students. They will be thrilled!

Long ago, I read a copy of Bread and Jam for Frances to my first grade class at Sandy Elementary. We enjoyed eating bread and jam during the read-aloud. What a fun memory!

I've begun another school year with my second graders, Oakcrest-Eagles. We are continuing with our browsing boxes, and this year I included myself in the rotation. I read the collection in box 2, and this book is housed there.
