Journal Entry 1 by Wasserseele from Hahnstätten, Rheinland-Pfalz Germany on Sunday, October 29, 2006
It's not every day that you came across a naked man on the side of the road. That's why cocktail waitress Sookie Stackhouse doesn't just drive on by. Turns out the poor thing hasn't a clue who he is, but Sookie does. It's Eric the vampire - but now he's a kinder, gentler Eric. And a scared Eric, because whoever took his memory now wants his life. Sookie's investigation into who and why leads straight into a dangerous battle among witches, vampires, and werewolves. But a greater danger could be to Sookie's heart - because this version of Eric is very difficult to resist...
Hmmm, yes, Eric Northman is one of my favourites, no matter what mental condition he is in. ;-)

Found the book in my kitchen, I believe it arrieved on saturday and my flatmate left it there.
Edit 26.08.08: I really needed some vampires. And I enjoyed this visit a lot. The last book was not one of my favourites, this was much better. I appreciated that Bill was absent most of the time but fear now that he will be back for the next novel. Oh, well let's wait and see...
The book is now on its way to delfinnetti.

Yesterday I finally managed to get the book out of the "Packstation" where it had been since saturday. Thank you very much for the Ray! Theoretically there would be another five books ahead of it - theoretically! I don´t suppose I will be able to wait quite that long ;-)
Edit 07.09.2008: Half way through the book and shorthanded in the way of sleep ;-)
Edit 11.09.2008:
Just as good as the other books in this series. I somehow wait for Sookie to discover that she has some additional abilities than just plain telepathy, but that has not happened so far. She is a bit too goodhearted and worries a bit too much about religion for my taste but still the books are a very enthralling read. Sookie didn´t change so much in the time of the past four books as I would have suspected, after all that has happened to her. I wonder how the thing with the werewolfs will develop. I´m quit interested how the storie will continue. We still have only seen glimpses of the supernatural world - we don´t know what else might be out there - and there are quite some interesting hints (this time from the feary). I quite enjoyed the book. Thank you for sharing. I´m going to inquire after the next adress right away.

And has already arrived and was read! I really love Sookie and her live. Vampires are definetly my favourites, though werepanthers are interesting, too.
Definetti has already very completely written, what I´d have said. Thanks for that. And for sharing this ring.

totally loved it - due to my current "hunger" for vamps-weres-and-shifter-Stories - but didn't love it as much as the previous books. Furthermore, I completely enjoyed Bill not being around almost the entire book.

Vielen lieben Dank,

I realy had the goal to finish this book bevor christmas. But just after the working stress and the christmas preparations I found aome time for reading a book.
I liked the 4th book of Sookie: Thanks wasserseele for starting this ray
A lot of supes, the search for Sookie´s brother and evolving feelings for Eric made the this book worth reading.
At our last little meetup I was asked which supe I would be! But I´m really happe t o be just a human. Like the aunt of spidi sad: “power comes with great responsibilty”.
Just one point of “critcism” (don´t take the following to serious)
I just accept whiches as whiches, which show these features:
“ A real which hates children,
A real which spends all her time plottig to get rid of the children in herparticulat territory
A real which always wears gloves, because she doesn´t have fingernails. Instead of fingernails she has thin claws.
A real which is always bald as a boiled egg. A real which always wears a wig to hid her baldness
A real which has the most amazing powers of smell. They have slightly larger nose-holes than ordinary people.
A real which has no toes, her spit s blue […]”
If you got interested, than read more in “The Witches” by Roald Dahl
The book “Dead o the world” will take the next step of it´s journey in the next days…

Guess the book arrived a couple of days ago, but was busy completing my diploma thesis... really looking forward to reading it now! Thanks to Wasserseele for the Ray and to susiuni for sending it to me - no worries, this time it did not get lost again - I was just too busy and not at home to journal it earlier... ;-)
17/01/2009: Have finished this Sookie-episode this morning and enjoyed it as much as the others before - now I´m waiting for the next one to arrive! ;-) I tried to finish this one fast, so its journey is not going to be any further delayed... I already asked 'Killerpueppi' for the address and think that this book will continue its travels no later than Monday! To all of you: Have a nice weekend! ;-}

arrived safe yesterday, I think I can start this one soon.
Heute sind Sookie und die Blutsauger-Jungs bei mir gelandet. Ich bin schon sehr gespannt wie es weitergeht.
Aaaand done!
I enjoyed this book very much. Being an Eric fan, I could understand Sookie's feelings quite well and it pained me that he forgot so much. Claudine is a nice addition and I liked that we saw more of the Weres of Shreveport and how everybody worked together.
I can hardly wait for the next book and will be sending this one out to the next reader at the beginning of next week.
