I picked this up at a Booksale today. I have been meaning to try something of his for a while as my boyfriend has told me that this author is really good and funny. I hope I will like it when I get around to reading it!

Journal Entry 3 by verenka from Wien - irgendwo / Vienna - somewhere, Wien Austria on Friday, May 25, 2007
This was very funny. I laughed out loudly several times during the book, people on the subway started looking at me in a funny way. I particularly enjoyed the englishness of some of the situations, the crazy bureaucracy and generall weirdness of the story and most of the characters. My favourite quote from the book:
"Imagine Manchester.
Sorry, had you just eaten? Let's try a gentler approach.
Imagine a place where it rains all the time."
I'll pass this one on to my Dad, I'm not giving up hope that eventually he'll join.
