This was another of my finds while trawling through Waterstones a while ago. The title grabbed me straight away and the story sounds interesting. This is another that I can't wait to read.
This is a very interesting premise and the story is very vivid. The characters are great too and I really liked the descriptions. Brockmeier obviously did a lot of research into surviving in the Antarctic. I loved his descriptions of crossings as well - you'll know what I mean if you read the book.
I would have liked it to have been longer. I suppose that could be a good thing to say. I think I wanted it to be meatier, more in-depth. I suppose it's true what they say - you can't get too much of a good thing.
