Picked this up a while ago and was intrigued by the reference to its similarity to The Lovely Bones. Loved that, so I thought I'd give it a go. Looks like an interestng story in itself so even if it's nothing like TLB, I don't mind as long as it's good.

Well, I read this before Chrstmas and it's not as good as The Lovely Bones. It's about three sisters, the youngest of whom disappears after school one day. Years later, the eldest sister, Caroline, sees a picture of her in a magazine and goes in search of her.
It's not a bad story, but it needed more depth. It's neither as well written nor as engrossing as TLB, but it's not a bad story, it just could have been better.
