A Million Little Pieces

Despite all the controversy surrounding this book, I was perfectly happy to read it as fiction, having heard it was a good story. Nevertheless, I gave up by chapter two, for a completely different reason- I hated the author's writing style. Descriptions and dialogue were too over-the-top to be believable, dialogues were formatted poorly, and nouns were capitalized at random, all of which made for a very annoying reading experience.

Needed a book for the plane and found this one in the lending library of the Peace Lodge in Costa Rica. Made for some fine reading on the flight back to New York City (though his bombastic style got on my nerves, especially as this is now considered a fictional non-fiction book). Not sure where I will set the book free, but probably somewhere in the city!
