Joanne Harris is a master at weaving a tale and slowly building it towards its conclusion and Gentlemen and Players is no different to any of her other books that I have read. However, this was not one of my favourites as I found it difficult to empathise with the characters.

Hoping now that someone else will enjoy this book. If you find it, please let me know when you have read it and what you thought of it.

Okay so this is my second set of release notes on this book. Yesterday I left the book on a bus and this morning the book was handed back to me by the driver who told me it had been handed into Lost Property! Anyhow, this morning I tried to free my book again. I left it on a table outside of a cafe opposite the Odeon cinema and this evening I have arrived home to find my book has been found. Hurrah! None of my books have ever been found until today, so I am looking forward to reading someone elses comments on this book and hoping maybe it gets to travel to some far flung destination.
