It wasn't horrible, but for some reason was also not what I expected. Definately more a plain old mystery then the usual sick shit I enjoy. Not sure if I'll look for any more by this author. I asked someone from one of groups if they enjoyed her books, and they had almost the same feelings I did, although she picked up all her books.
