I am a major fan of Henry VIII stories and this one was recommended by Caroly Ericson an author on Tudor England of wonderous skill. Turns out she was right to recommend it. Although at 932 it is almost as long as Henry's reign it is a well done fictionalization of th etimes and events which are otherwise well documented and known.

Besides weighting more than Anne Boelyn's head, and being as difficult to mail, I am certain to re-read this one day.

Released on Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at Bridgehead Coffeehouse on Third & Bank (Glebe) in Ottawa, Ontario Canada.

To be released at tonight's MeetUp.

This book is way to big to imagine mailingoout and not everyone's cup of tea for leaving laying around...so to the MeetUp it goes in the hopes of finding a new appreciative home.

Picked this up at the Meet-Up last night. Forgot that I wanted to read it until I saw it on the table. Probably will save it to read this summer. Thanks OttawaBill.........nice to finally meet you!

OttawaBill - just wanted you to know that I am heading over to Newfoundland for my vacation and taking this book with me. While my husband drives, I will be reading! If I get through half of it over the next 3 weeks, I will be happy. Have a great summer!

I loved this book! The author's writing style drew me right in from the first page; it is totally engrossing. Now I want to travel to England to learn more about Henry VIII.

This is the longest book I have ever read - 932 pages - and I read it in three weeks; a personal record for me.

I have a friend who loves historical fiction so I am going to ask her if she wants to give this a try.

Thank you OttawaBill for bringing this book to a Meet-Up many months ago.
