I thoroughly enjoyed this book - being a Jane Austen fan I had expected to. However this book is more about the people who make up the reading group.
From Amazon:
Six people – five women and a man – meet once a month in California’s Central Valley to discuss Jane Austen’s novels. They are ordinary people, neither happy nor unhappy, but each of them is wounded in different ways, they are all mixed up about their lives and relationships. Over the six months they meet, marriages are tested, affairs begin, unsuitable arrangements become suitable – under the guiding eye of Jane Austen a couple of them even fall in love….

Picked up at Rosie O'Grady's (last Thursdays Meet up.) As my TBR pile is so large I'm passing this straight on to my sister-in-law who needs something to read on the train!

I picked this up at the meet up for another bookcrosser - think I'll read this one myself now then make available.
Not really sure what I thought of this book. It isn't something I'd normally be drawn to but it was a gentle undemanding sort of read.

Found this book while on holiday in Marbella, it helped me pass the time while the kids played in the pool with their dad, Mum needed some alone time, and a good book helps.
I left the book in the apartment where we stayed, maybe i have helped it on its way to going around the world.
