I don't really like the Froggy series, but perhaps this will be found by some young reader who will appreciate it...

Froggy is not one of our favorites but it's fun to see where the book has been and where it goes......

It was November 4th, 2006. We had just taken my husband out for his 46th birthday. After enjoying a great dinner at the Macaroni Grill, my 11 year old son needed a new pair of shoes so we went to Chesterfield Mall. Nick was looking for a special kind of shoes that slip on without shoestrings. He knows how to tie shoes, but I think it must be uncool to have shoelaces these days. We went to Journey's to look for slip on Vans. My younger son and husband were watching the children on the fancy merry-go-round. I needed to use the restroom so my 9 year old son told me to walk to the entrance of the mall, then take a left, but don't go into the family room. As I was walking to the restrooms, I noticed this book sitting all alone on top of a display case in the middle of the walk area. On the front of the book was a post-it note that read FREE see inside of book for details. I picked up the book and flipped through the pages, but didn't see anything in it. So I placed it back on the display. As I started to walk away, I think the teacher in me decided to take another look at the book because Froggy is one of my favorite characters. That's when I opened the book cover and found that I was going to make some new friends. I raced to show my daughter, who is currently studying to become a 1st grade teacher. She was very excited to get home to find out where Froggy has been. And today we are going to discover whose lives this free book has crossed.
