Evil haunts a New England town, Evil that visits every generation and wipes out just about everyone and everything every hundred years. The hundred years has passed and the town is in deep trouble.
I generally enjoy Straub's work, this one is no exception. Pretty well written, interesting sotry line but not one I'd re-read.
