I was pleasantly surprised by this book. With the Devil Wears Prada, I often found myself frustrated with the leading character. However, I found myself almost instantly hooked by this book and found Bette, the main character, to be very likable and relateable. Part of the charm of the book is the love story that usually accompanies "chick-lit" and also the supporting characters including her Uncle Will. Love it - highly recommend!
