I loved this story. This was a part of my personal collection, but I've decided that I think I'd like to pass it along. This hard-back is missing its slip and has a couple of pen marks on it, but other than that, it is in fairly good condition, considering it was passed to me after a couple other people had read it.

what a great book. its a wonderful far-fetched story, and with such lovely characters, it all seems possible. bigger issues like racism and bullying are touched on but the morals are never sickenly sweet. i wish more adult fiction could be written like this.

PS I also recommend the movie
