Do you love Tolkien? Try this one. I don't know why they haven't made a movie...... My dad brought this book home to me out of the blue one day when I was fifteen. I loved it. At the time, it was a hardback. Now, I'm 31 and I still love this book just as much as I did then. It has been broken into two paperbacks, the first, Magician Apprentice and the second, Magician Master. It's definitely fantasy but it has everything: magic, dragons, war, the fate of the universe, love, coming of age, friendship, adventure, sorrow you name it. I make a point to read it now at least once a year. Feist turned it into a series which is good but nothing beats the original. Try it, you'll like it.
