RELEASE NOTES:

Posted in a wee parcel with some other goodies. I was tempted to keep this book back, but I might ask to borrow it once she's read it! And I was delighted to post this one up to Scotland, where the author is from... and where I'll be living again soon! yay!

Oops.... was only when I journalled the other book that I was sent during the summer as a NSSCSSS that I realised I hadn't journalled this one. I actually read it months ago and really enjoyed it, loved the characters, the setting, the simple, but compelling storyline. Thanks again to soulbalm for sending it to me, hope you're enjoying your new life in the place where this book is set and if you PM me your address I'll post it off to you so you can enjoy it too :o)

I realise that I never journalled to say this had arrived and languishes happily on my TBR pile! Thanks so much for sending it back to me, you're a star!

Updated....

This is a book like no other. In AMS style it is light and positive and full of little incidents. I think perhaps it might have worked better in its original form as a serial in a daily newspaper, and perhaps I should have rationed myself and only read small amounts each day! I loved reading about Edinburgh, my home city through his eyes, and am delighted to say that my book group now meets at The Cumberland Bar.

Will release this eventually...
