Somewhat an artist myself, this book intrigued me. I've already seen the film, but that was long enough ago that I've forgotten enough of it to be able to focus on just this book. When I'm finished, I'll release this one in Newnan.
Girl with a Pearl Earring is a good book. I wanted to know more about Vermeer, but this book was not about him. It was very much about the girl. Narration from the perspective of the model for a painting, fictional or not, was interesting and enjoyable.
