A fascinating fiction about scientists racing to discover a cure for malaria. At least that's what I think it was about. I read it an age ago. What I do recall was that it really held my interest and that I ploughed through it. Also that I found the science stuff really interesting. Of course, I could be thinking of a completely different book, but I'm pretty sure it's this one.
