I first saw the movie before i read the book version. I found that the movie is very close to the book with subtle differences. in comparison to the book, the movie dialogue was cut short and the book had me drawn into it more than the movie did. all in all the book is much better than the movie as it is in most cases. the movie gets a 5 and the book gets an 8. and thats my two cents.
