A kind loan from wombles, I like his style and his Brisbane settings, should read this soon.

A tricky choice of subject, how to move on after the death of a loved one, and even harder one that you didn't necessarily like before they died.

I found this one just a little slow at the beginning but it certainly picked up and had laugh out loud moments.

Poor, poor Kate and Flag or should I say 'ktnflag'. An obsessive relationship with her cat, social ineptness and 80's hair. The girl really didn't stand much of a chance.

Then comes Ash, a free spirit who captures Jon's imagination from the first time he sees her pulled up in front of an abandoned, run down rental from a friend.

Once again Nick shows us enough glimpses of Brisbane culture and geography to make it easy to relate.

Thanks so much for lending this to me Wombles, will return it soon.

Picked up from the post office today! Thanks Wombles.
I have actually read this one already and it was because of that that I responded to wombles' generous offer to liberate her collection. Will try to move it on to another reader.
