After struggling through Don DeLillo's The Body Artist, I was looking for something light and fluffy and totally non-challenging to read, so I snaffled this from the bookshelf in the Waterfront Lodge Backpackers, where we were staying in Napier. And it certainly fitted my criteria - it's so light and fluffy you'd have to weigh it down with a brick to stop it blowing away in a slight breeze, and the only challenge it presented was to not get irritated at the factual errors that a minimum of research on the part of the author would have corrected (for example, Trekkies saying "May the Force be with you" - I don't think so!!!) But I'm probably being hyper-critical - for the type of book it is, it's not too bad - it was kind of amusing, and the happily ever after at least happened to the right people.
