The Hobbit
2 journalers for this copy...
Tried reading to my son and daughter, but they just got bored about a quarter of the way through. Maybe this book is too slow moving for the 21st century child....they DO like to read at least. Perhaps they will come back to this book in their late teens, early twenties. Great book jacket - illustration by the author

I picked this up for my 12 year old son, Iain who loved The Lord of the Rings but hasn't yet read The Hobbit.
Thanks for bringing this to the book buffet at the convention in Toronto.

Iain enjoyed this so much that he wanted his own copy. I found one for him in a used bookstore on a bookstore jaunt with my book-finding buddy chronicbooker3 in Pickwicks bookstore in Dundas, Ontario. We've decided to put this one in a bookbox we are participating in.
