The Anne Frank Wall project is, most simply, a collection of photos of people all over the world holding one of the over 60 translations of her diary. Our 8th grade classes at Bret Harte Middle School in San Jose, CA began this commemorative wall to show how Anne Frank's spirit lives on and continues to inspire others. It shows, at a glance, the power of her teenage writing to realize her dream "to go on living, even beyond my death." We have built a website at http://www.annefrankwall.org so that people the world over can send their photos in to help build a global wall.
We hope that those who find this diary when it's released into the wild will take a moment to send in a photo of the diary to our website (just click on "Send your photos" and follow the directions) so that we can create a photo trail of this book's journey.
