I've owned this book several times. Recently my sister died. I found this book, and bought it... again. Rituals of everyday life, special occasions and passages are the topic. Rev. Fulghum analyzes how rituals comfort us, how we can comfort others with rituals..
After reading this book, your morning coffee and newspaper become a comforting ritual, helping with change, loss and boredom. The stories are simple, and touching. Keep Kleenex nearby.. you may need them.
