It's been a while since I've read this, my memory may be off a bit! I would read it again, but I hope to geocache it tomorrow!!
I give this a 6. It IS Star Trek, and Mr. Shatner is a pretty good writer. It's just that Shatner seems to push Kirk more and more into unbelievability with each book. Kirk & Picard as buddies, for instance, just rubs me wrong. And, as usual, Kirk has to save Picard and save the day.
Certainly worth a read, though.....
