Heard this author speak at Bouchercon and am looking forward to reading one of her books.
I'm reading this one right now. So far, so good. It's one of King's Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes books. Mary Russell is a young feminist who happens to be a protege of the aging (60+) Sherlock Holmes. In this book, Russell meets Margery Childe, leader of a fairly radical feminist movement. After several mishaps involving wealthy members of the movement, Russell believes she must investigate.
Well, my opinion didn't change after finishing the book. It was very well done and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Also loved the quotations with which King began each chapter. I'll seek out other books by this author.
