Just received from annulla by mail. Thank you! I'll journal again when I've read it. I didn't even know this one existed I had asked for Love in the Time of Cholera by the same author and Annulla generously offered this one. Thanks again.
What a wierd story. I enjoyed every page though! :) I found it totally different from 100 Years of Solitude and much easier to follow - probably because not everyone has the same sounding name....
The story itself is so bizarre and reading each page waiting for "death" is morbid...but in a -can't stop reading til it happens- kinda way.
The illustrations in this particular book are excellent and really add to the overall tone.
Finally given to poohbear3 :) Hope you enjoy your first taste of Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I hope you like this little story.
I have never read this author, but have wanted to give him a try. This came from my good friend Cestmoi
