It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.

This magical realist novel tells the history of the Buendias family, the founders of Macondo, a remote South American settlement. In the world of the novel there is a Spanish galleon beached in the jungle, a flying carpet, and an iguana in a woman's womb.

Happy Reading!

Found this book quite hard going and didnt have time to read to finish for releasing in Prague. Why do they have to name everybody the same?? There's far too many Buendia's to get my head around.
The first half of the book i struggled with and then I got a great sense of space. Macondo. The people, where ghosts of the past mingle with the present.
You get a great sense of solitude with certain family members. Why cant they just be normal happy go lucky members of the community?Family traits galore, tragedy that follows people around, supernatural occurrences, its all here in Macondo, throughout the years, the town changes, the people change but the essence of what is Macondo stays the same.
