I used to know a LOT of people who worked at Microsoft or who did computer science - techie stuff for fun and profit. They were in this book, under disguised names. This is, I think, Douglas Coupland's best book, and his most effective at capturing the ethos of the technologically savvy but socially clueless computer genius "community" of the 90s.
