When We Were Orphans

Ishiguro deals with memory and this book is very interesting although not of the compactness and overall quality of Remains of the Day. The book begins to fall apart a bit towards the end but recoups itself. There are many loose ends which leave the reader somewhat unsatisfied, but again, this book deals with memory and its effect and these loose ends may be intentional. A very good read.
